I recently watched the Seventh Sign (Oct 99) and I also embarked on a quest to find out about the Guf and the Hall of Souls. I spent the last week looking, and besides this website, I found a reference in www.dogpile.com when I entered The Guf in the fetch section. It is called The Guf and the Treasury of Souls. This site maintains that this is not biblically based but that it is a theology used to explain, by the catholics, some difficult questions. It is also related to greek philosophy in some way.
