It does not say that women cannot teach. It says a woman has no authority over her husband. Women only submitted to their husbands. When Paul spoke about women he was not negating their abilities to teach. He was speaking strictly from a historical contextual agreement with the european cities. Do a word study on the following words: women, men, silent, speak. Paul sent many many women out to minister. Women were martyrs just like men. Martyrs are made martyrs because they speak the word to people. They are a threat. When Paul spoke of Priscilla and Aquilla he gave her the first acknowledgement because she had the stronger gift. No he was not polite as women in the Talmud were never acknowledged as anything but lower cl citizens. Lower than dogs. Either Jesus as set us free or not. Women are as gifted as men. If women are to remain silent in the church - then they should not prophecy, sing, pray. Silent meant to be still and don't ask questions until we get home. You have to a hermeneutical word study and cultural study to understand women are as free to teach as men are.
: Can any one help me I'm having a family controversary on where does it say in the King Jame Bible that women cannot be the head of the church and minster or be a pastor.
