If that were the case, homouality would have been selected out long before humans evolved. Yet homouality exists today in hundreds of animal species including humans. We are speaking in the context of millions of years here. This would indicate that uality is about more than simply procreation. It's about creativity, exploration, and fulfillment. Life is more than it's simple functions or any ideas we have about it. Life feels itself, and is pure exuberance no matter what the gender involved.
