: I'm in a religious studies cl at University that focusses on the History of the Christian church. I have to do a term paper and I was thinking of doing it on the persecution of the church, mostly the early church. I also think that the why is more interesting than the how. We have talked about it in our cl actually. According to our prof. it was due to their exclusivity and not allowing their(my) God to be added to the Roman Pantheon. Any information or the like would be greatly appreciated.
