: : : So very sad to hear about his ping - so much more he had to say. Hopefully - he's now cruising through the universe.......................mitz

: : I have read and re-read my Douglas Adams books and can now only think... No more..
: : Send us a line Mr. Adams
: : We all miss you already.

: What a profound loss the universe has suffered. The guide touched places in my psyche that were erstwhile ressurected only by bad chemicals in my misspent youth. It taught us all the world is a very complex, misinterpretted, but most of all: utterly silly place. I would hazard a guess that Douglas would view his ping as an opportunity to leave this earth in means other than hitching a ride on a vogon constructor fleet for the express purpose of exploring alternative and absurd views of reality. Say hi to God my friend! ( And perhaps recite some vogon poetry at him.) Adieu!

My heart is heavy, for the way that I learned of his death is from a comic. (Somehow fitting, but still saddening to me)

I have dug out my ancient, honorable, and venerable copies of Bureaucracy and the HHGTG Infocom games for my old C64 (yes it still works) and I'm laughing and crying my way thru both. So please Mr. Adams, if you could send me some paperwork to change my mailing address, it would be much appreciated
