: You know, I used to be the biggest gun control advocate--even won awards for my debate for it in the 7th and 10th grades, but now, after reading up on the history of gun laws and going through the proper training, I believe in the second amendment and highly question the temerity of modern gun control spin doctors. The gun IS a serious weapon, it's life and death, it's up there next to God and your mother, so to speak... and one should be properly qualified, but it is a fundamentally American principle, practically unrefuted in American history up until the time of the Prohibition when all the Italians started killing people(In the twenties, if you killed someone, you were twenty times more likely to be of Italian descent than of any other ethnic group!!!!!) I know, I was shocked too.

As a dago I must take offense at this. And I do believe the demographics of who is killing whom has now dramatically changed.
