Hello, I am not sure what i should post, for you see my room is TheBibleHall. inwhich we rise different question on all sorts of matters. study and talk. alot of thinking. yet here i see no questions, stories, etc.
if you don't mind i wish to share a small story or parble if you wish.
In his lifetime a man has three friends: his sons, his wealth, and good deeds At the time of ihs departure from teh world, should he gather his sons and say to them, "I beg of you, come and save me from the punishment of death," they will reply, "Have you not heard that there is no prevailing over the day of death/. Is it not written, 'No man can by any means redeem his kin [ps. 49:8]? Therefore, go in peace and rest on your couch." At this, he gathers his wealth and says, "For you I labored night and day; I beg of you, redeem me from death." But his wealth replies, "Have you not ehard taht 'wealth is of no avail on the day of ping away' [Prov. 11:4]?" Then he gathers his good deeds, to whom he says, "Come and save me from death-do not let me depart from the world." They reply, "Go in peace. Even before you arrive [in heaven],we shall have come before you, as it is said, 'Thy charity shall go beofre thee'" (Isa 58:8)
The moral of this parble is that though one need faith to be saved. it is their deeds which reveal their faith.
