: For anyone who has studied traditional epistemology, or who wishes to study it, I challenge you (congenially) to read Ayn Rand's "Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology." Whether you agree with her novels/politics/ethics or not, do not dismiss her revolutionary theory of concepts. The second edition, in addition to the original text, includes her extemperaneous answers to some of the most profoud metaphysical/epistemological questions. I've never witnessed a more extraordinary mind in action. Rand not only solves the problem of universals, but she also introduces new logical fallacies hitherto unindentified, and demonstrates why they are irrefutable. Sound to good to be true? Please read the book and then answer this question.
