The theory of relativity states that the page of time is relative to the speed of light. The closer you get to moving at the speed of light, the slower time, for you, seems to progress. Theoritically, if you were to reach the speed of light, time, for you, would stop. And if you were to go faster than the speed of light, you could actually travel back in time.
Now, imagine that you are standing in front of a full-length mirror. You have always been standing in front of this mirror, never moving. You are handed a gun that emits a deadly laser when the trigger is pulled. The laser beam travels the speed of light. The gun is pointed at your reflection at such an angle that the beam would hit you in the head, killing you instantly.
Theoretically, if you pulled the trigger, you would die before you saw yourself pull the trigger.
But what if the laser beam traveled faster than the speed of light?
