Answer to both questions is Yes, they are one and the same thing. You have but read a single book ( the bible ) and unfortunately have neither the intelligence or courage to face the fact that it is one of the most flawed pieces of literature ever written. The majority of the worlds population is not Christian, indeed most are not even aware of its existence. Are you seriously saying that upwards of 3 Billion people will be "lost" simply because of their geographical location ? There have been other religions before Christianity and there will be many more in the future, they all have one thing in common, in that they are based upon superstition and the desire for wealth and power which they bring the leaders of each sect. Far from being neutral, I regard the Catholic church in particular as an evil power hungry establishment inflicting untold pain and misery on poverty stricken nations by having the audacity to speak against birth control.
