: On September 22nd at the Riverside Resort in Laughlin there will be a reunion of the remaining members of 5307th Composite Group also known as Merrill's Marauders. Their history is nearly lost and much of their exploits are and never have been fully explained or described. Yet as a group no one military team was given time and again more to achieve with less than the 5307th. When their losses were counted and success added up they were disbanded and nothing much more was ever said or written. : Tom Clancy has an ability to put on paper in a detail only an artest can protray. Tom can create and doent a time in history when so much was accomplished by very few. : Is there any interest at all in Tom Clancy bringing this page of history to life to honor a fighting force of determined military minds that fought against the ememy, politics and common sense to win their battle. : Duke
