While you say it's improbable for birds to migrate south for winter, it is by no means improbable. But that wasn't my point entirly. My point was is that life cannot come from non-living matter. Some scientists give the unthinkable reasoning that if you give something enough time, life will some how pop up out of no where. I'm by no means trying to turn this into a religious discussion however, so please don't get that idea. I do believe thought that scientist or physicists tend not to keep in mind the exsistence of a creator because it belittles them as not being the ultimate authority on things like how the universe works. Man is the ultimate egotist. I'm sure you'll agree. So, the thought of someone "higher" would make them look less important. But just look at the human brain, we still don't know how it produces thought. And we only use a small fraction of our brain to live. Along with the countless other varieties of things in our earth and universe to not even consider the exsistence of a "higher power" is a big jump from nothing to a highly functional human brain and earth.
