You may be correct in both of these umptions, but then again you might be wrong. But its just an umption on your part. No one has demonstated that life can be produced from non-living things, but that does not mean it can't happen. In regard to 2 above, I think scientists and physicists are just like the general population. Some believe in God, some don't.
I mentioned the bird migration as an example of something that happens, but is something man doesn't understand. In other words, just because we don't understand how something occurs, doesn't mean it can't occur. Because we don't understand how living matter can come from non-living doesn't mean it can't occur.
