I am an 11th grade American Studies student in Pennsylvania. I have read de Tocqueville's Democracy in America, and I have one question that I was wondering if you could help me answer. I have read reviews on the book, and they mention that specific material was excluded from the book because of its content. I was wondering if you could direct me to the information concerning the material left out of the book as a result of the Cold War, and if you could tell me what editor or help me find which one left the chapters out because of the time period.
