I have a project due on Friday for school about conic sections. I am using this as a last resort, as I can find nothing whatsoever about their applications in the real world. I would be very, very, happy if someone could help me out with an article on their applications, point me in the right direction, whatever. But I really need help, and I need it fast. I have done a fair amount of research, but all I seem to find is an explanation, rather than any applications. Again, if you can help me in any way, thank you very much. I will be anxious to hear from anyone!
