NOw its my turn, i have to do an essay on macbeth as a tragic hero today for cl, except i'm going to do mine on why he's not a tragic hero, aristotle's definition of a tragic hero is that the punishment exceeds the crime, macbeth wholly deserved to lose his head for being so evil and murdering many good people, which takes me to my next point, you should feel pity for the tragic hero, for macbeth i feel none, again he's wholly deserving of it, and at last the tragic hero's fall must bring him to an understanding of some sort, it must make him see his mistakes, macbeth is pure rgae and evil to the very end, thats why i think macbeth is not a tragic hero.
