: I was recently reading a criticism of the Bible on the Web, : and I ran across a question about the lineage of the Hebrew Kings : of Judah and Israel. The article questioned the authenticity of the : Bible on this lineage, citing several pages from II Kings. : Specifically, the question was about the apparent inaccuracty about : the year in which Jarom king of Judah took the throne, as opposed to : Jarom King of Israel. One page in particular states that Jarom : son of Jehosophat took over the throne from his father during the : reign of Jarom King of Israel, while the rest of the book indicates in : several places that Jarom King of Judah is referred to as having taken : the throne during the reign of Jerom King of Israel. I was asking : to find an answer to this problem.
