: Hi..I'm back..couldn't get to sleep again thought I'll do a brain drain..O.K Who came first the egg or the chicken..?The answer is the Chicken..why..? : The same reason that killed off the dinosaurs...?Unlike Darwins theory of "survival of the fittest" via mutation,birds wern't hatching eggs they first were bearing chicks...Sunlight became too strong,and the ozone layer was not yet fully developed..Chicks were first born whole,as the atmosphere heated up..(greehhouse effect)..oxygen depelition became evident..Chicks were being born in sacks...which eventually became shells...As the adults became stressed their bodied adapted to the climatic changes..and hence instead of chicks being delivered,eggs became the norm..as a source of natural protection from the sun.. up to and In this time,oxygen which made up the majority of the earths atmosphere rapidly depleted,and replaced by nitrogen..the big slow moving bodies of the dinosaurs depended heavily on nitrogen and not oxygen to survive..as the nitrogen depleted many of the land based mammals simply chocked to death..yes they choked themselves into oblivion..those who made their way to then into the sea,were able to : to sustain and convert into sea creatures..With the continual burning of the volcanos,along with mive forest fires,the ozone layer was completely developed...sealing once and for all,the fate of the dinosaurs while securing the fate of the adapting sea creatures...With the ozone layer now giving protection from the burning heat of the sun..the sea creatures ventured back onto land...eventually one othese species developed into homo sapiens as we know it today... : Now that's not hard to understand is it boys and girls..Gotta to go now...My poached eggs on toast are ready...
