Chaucer did a wonderful of becoming the Miller to tell the tell. You must see things through that perspective. You see the miller. A hulking rogue, and these are his thoughts. So, the moral is, consider the source. As you'll notice, the Parsons tale is a long sermon, as the parson is a cleric. When you think of things this way, Chaucer makes youm realize that if you agree with the Millers Tale, you are as corrupt and foolish as he himself is.
