The Parson is the exception of Chaucers view of corruption in the clergy. The parson is a very holy man, who gives his money to the church, and lives the life he preaches. If the info you need is Chaucers view on the parson, Chaucer views him amiably.
The Parsons Tale is a sermon on the seven deadly sins. Chaucer uses the parson to display his own values and beliefs into the text. If you need the tale, it might be hard to find, because many versions of The Canterbury Tales omit the parsons, due to the fact it can be very boring to read. The tale isn't really a tale at all.
