In my AP English cl, I have decided to write a paper comparing and/or contrasting two different views of Hell. However, my teacher has requested that I bring her samples of the two pieces that I will be using. I have decided to use Dante's description of Hell, and the Bible's description of Hell. My problem is that when I try to find a description of Hell in Dante's work, I get a huge page. I am aware that most people say that the whole novel is a description of hell, and I would prefer to use prose examples. If anyone knows of a good site where there are prose translations of Dante's Inferno, I would really apperciate it. Thanks!
