: hi all,
: i would like to say that Dostoevsky is a brilliant brilliant
: writer and thinker. when i read Crime and Punishement [that was a long time ago],
: i was amazed, in awed with the raw'ness' and ness in which he was able to portray
: human emotions. it was very very powerful.
: i'm glad that there is a site dedicated to him.
: Too bad most discussions center only on the more typical acadamic
: topics, [though they are still interesting].
: really, i'm interested in if or how Dostoevsky, his
: works or thoughts, have influenced you on a more personal
: level, in terms of the way you view life, people, your own philosophy for example.
:
dostoevski makes me happy, seeing that there was some human who was able to think about everythink at the same time...
influences...they are many...
he showed me the purity of aljosha karamazov ,showing me at the same time that the purity can be born, not made..and the purity can exist only if it is not directly involved in world...
Dostoevski shows us the model of super, perfect crime, crime with high goal, but at the same time he shows us the model of human soul, that no everybody is able to live with that crime.
He wrote a book about fights in human mind, wars in the human soul...He even gives us space of thinking about practical man, less of creativity man, unique man, special man...
Dostoevski gives us everything...
Dostoevski understands life...
I was ,i am ,i will be happy knowing that this man had walked on this planet.
Ivan Karamazov is a simbol of pion, pion that can be stronger than anything, that strong so you could kill your father just because of it.
Rogozin is simbol of that pion too.....
