Re: Position of women in Medea - HELP!! - Perhaps Aristophanes was jealous of Euripides' sensitivity to the injustice dished out to women in his day. I know lots of men today who mock other men who appear to be sensitive to women's issues. Just because Aristophanes mocked Euripides is not proof that he was a misogynist. 22:34:02 9/07/99
