I am looking for the source (and an authoritative translation into English) of a quote from Goethe which I currently have in Italian - translating from the Italian gives - Then comes evening, and on the tranquil breeze the skimming clouds settle on the mountain peaks, hovering almost motionless in the sky and, after sunset, the sound of the cicadas begins to be clearly heard, and we feel at our ease in this world: no longer in prison or in exile. Any ideas gratefully recieved
