Though debated, there seems to be evidence that
Homer was an Asiatic Greek as evident by his
treatment of Asiatic characters, ie, Trojans,
especially Hektor. ("Troy: Its Legend, History
and Literature", SGW Benjamin, 1887)
Look to Turkey for Homer's origin, and look to
Hissarlik for the probable site of Troy itself.
