: I'm taking a research cl this semester, and I've come to a question that has me stumped. My professor tells me that Giles Goat Boy was a bestseller in 1966 when it first came out (a fact I have been able to verify) but that even though everyone bought it, no one read it. He wants me to doent this occurance and exlain how this could happen. I know that the book is very long and somewhat difficult to get through, but that is certainly not conclusive one way or another as to whether or not it was read.
: I would really appreciate anyone who could help me out.
