Keynes Re: economics: Keynes, General theory The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money The Economic Consequences of the Peace The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money, The Economic Consequences of the Peace:
:Try reading the book! Although difficult the General Theory is one of the most elegantly written treatises on economics ever penned. Someone said "Economics used to be written by Scotsmen speaking English; now it's written by Hungarians speaking algebra". Roy Harrod's biography of Keynes gives a great deal of theory and shows how Keynes's views developed. It also shows the connections between Keynes's theories and thier practical manifestations in the IMF, Bretton Woods Treaty and macroeconomic policy in the fifites and sixties.
