I think Marcus would advise you to decide why you want to know the answer to these questions.

If you want to know the answers, you can work (and I mean work) your way there by reading his meditations. Try Matthew Arnold's essay on MA for a leg up.

If you don't care what the answers mean, and you are just cobbling together an essay for a term paper - change to business studies, they don't care whether they are right or wrong, as long as they are on the move!
