: For all of you who think Tupac is alive, he is not. For all of you who think Machiavelli faked his death, he did not. He wrote about it in his book, The Art of War. It is a common misconception the Machiavelli faked his death. The reason Tupac "changed his name" to Makaveli, was because he "faked his death" as Tupac, and came back as Makaveli...he didn't literally fake his death and plan come back later on...it was simply a change of name or identity for the music business...some might wonder how new Tupac music is still made and released...before he died, he recorded a lot of music, which some of hasn't even been released yet. In conclusion, Tupac Shakur is dead, and Nicolo Machiavelli did not fake his death.
