: : Hello,
: : I am currently writing a PhD in France on the

: : particularly interested in Samuel Beckett's work.
: : But despite my research, I have been unfortunately
: : unable to find the date of the first production of "A
: : Piece of Monologue" in Britain (I have been looking
: : for that piece of information for weeks now...).
: : If anybody knows about it, would you be kind enough to
: : tell me when it was first produced in Britain, I would

: : I thank you in advance for your kind help.

: Dear Helene
: To my knowledge David Warrilow was the first performer of Piece of Monologue but I don't know whether he played in Britain. I performed it at the BAC in London about 10 years ago (I'd have to check) I'll try and find out for you who was the first if not me,
: Peter Marinker
Dear Peter,
Thank you so much for your kind help. I am most grateful to you for your answer. I will go to the British Library this summer to try and find out more about that 1st production! I am really sorry to thank you so lately, but I must admit I had stopped checking the site, I thought nobody would answer...
Best,
Hélène
