As I understand it (and I'm not Aquinas), being raised from the dead and being resurrected are not the same thing. Lazarus was reanimated, as was the widow's son, but these are not the resurrection. In Pauline terminology, "the corruptible takes on the incorruptible", so the resurrection is a transformation of the whole person, not just a renewal of the same body...
or at least that's the short answer.
