franny and zooey really affected me a LOT. it made me think about a lot of things, about how i was living my life. it made me consider my motivations, as in, what was franny's motivation in doing the jesus prayer etc. also it made me think about what criticising a person really entails, i.e. franny criticising her professors etc.
